As I attended this years Kneading Conference they announced they would be beginning a worldwide community bake day on October 16th! The meaning behind it being that it’s a way to share baking traditions from wherever you’re from and create community connection in you area. Whether you’re a home baker, deck oven, or wood fired! After attending the KC, I finally understood how important regional grain economy is. I hope someday to affect greater change in our beautiful area specific to grains. So, I will be participating in this event as a solo baker! But I would like to extend the offer to other bakers in our area to join in! As this is about creating community and conversation around grains! I will have 10 loaves available for Wednesday late afternoon, (two have already been claimed).
All YOU need to do is comment on Facebook or shoot me a message that you would like one and we can figure out pickup/ drop off details! It will feature only grains from PA, 100% naturally leavened sourdough bread, and baked fresh for you that morning!
